PWCS SAT Scores exceed the national mean

The College Board SAT score reports have been released and show that Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) students continue to excel. PWCS students’ overall mean score of 1105, is up 5 points from last year and is 66 points higher than the overall score for public school graduates nationwide. The percentage of PWCS students meeting all of the college readiness benchmarks established by the College Board mirrors performance at the state level, except for higher percentages of Black and White students in PWCS reaching the benchmarks and higher percentages of Asian and Hispanic students statewide reaching the benchmarks.
