About Denise Huebner

2020欧洲杯积分Denise Huebner was named associate superintendent for Special Education and Student Services, effective July 1, 2019. Huebner has nearly 30 years of experience as an educator. She most recently served as the associate superintendent for Eastern Elementary Schools. She has also served as a principal at the preschool, elementary, and middle school levels, and as a special education educator at the high school and elementary level.

As associate superintendent for Special Education and Student Services, Huebner oversees the Office of Special Education, the Office of Student Management and Alternative Programs (OSMAP), and the Office of Student Services including School Age Child Care (SACC), School Health Services, and Counseling.

2020欧洲杯积分Huebner holds certifications in Administration and Supervision, Pre-K–12; Specific Learning Disabilities, K–12; and Intellectual Disabilities, K–12. Huebner has been a leader in implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), treatment integrity implementation, and functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention plan development.

Huebner holds a Master of Education from Regent University and earned her bachelor’s degree, majoring in special education, at Northern Illinois University. She joined PWCS as a teacher at Signal Hill Elementary in 2005, and served as assistant principal at Yorkshire Elementary before becoming principal of Marshall Elementary in 2011. During much of her tenure at Marshall, Huebner also served as principal of Woodbine Preschool. She was named principal of Benton Middle School in 2015. From 2017-19 she served as Associate Superintendent for Eastern Elementary Schools, overseeing 17 PWCS elementary schools.
